that you can "spread sunshine all over the place, when you put on a happy face!" It's a corny song lyric sure but if you apply it to your daily life you will see why it was made into a song in the first place - it actually works!
Try it next time you're at work or walking through your neighborhood or even browsing the aisles of your local grocery store. You will see that when you walk along greeting each person you pass with a smile and a nod - a nod which basically says, "I see you and I recognize you as another person traveling these same roads", then that smile and nod will not only come back at you, it will be spread to the next one that person encounters and so on and so on and so on and so on. Until sunshine, happiness, is literally spread all over the place.
It can't hurt to try.
